VIDEO COLLECTION

I have finally transferred my SRV video collection from VHS videotapes to DVD-R. I collected these videos from many fans from 1993 until 1997, but I did not keep track of where I got them, so I can't give proper credit here. Thanks again to all who donated video to this collection. When the museum collection finds its ultimate home (it's getting closer to reality) these videos should be available for viewing by researchers and the public. Thanks also to Levi Peterson who did a lot of work on SRV videos, and to Mark Lamb, Jan Clark and Xavi Robertson who also contributed material recently. Here's a photo of me and Levi.

CORRECTIONS & ADDITIONS

Please send corrections and any information you may have on other existing footage of Stevie (email). I am particularly interested in finding more detail on the exact dates,  names of venues and TV stations. Many of my videos are obviously incomplete, and I would like to know whether you have more footage, even if you cannot supply me with a copy.

CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE COLLECTION
I would gratefully receive additions and upgrades you would like to contribute to the collection. I am particularly interested in interviews of Stevie or about Stevie. After over 15 years of buying SRV material for the museum, I now depend on the kindness of fans who contribute material, as there is no budget to purchase audio or video. I would be happy to give you a credit for your contribution on the website. You may send NTSC, PAL or SECAM VHS, or any DVD format.
SELLING
I do not sell video from this collection.
TRADING
Please understand that this collection is meant to be accessible to the public in a museum, so my part of the "trade" is making all this material accessible to you in that forum. I do not trade except in rare cases. If you are unwilling to contribute to the archive, but have something significant to trade, you may send me a detailed description of what you have (preferably with a screen capture) and I will consider a trade. 
-- There are NO exceptions for the items which are marked "no trades." Those videos were given to me on the condition they not be copied. Please do not attempt to persuade me to make an exception by offering something I do not have. I will not make any exceptions, regardless what you have.
-- If you have VHS video and no DVD copying ability, I would prefer to borrow your VHS and make a DVD copy and return your tape to you. This will prevent loss of video quality in VHS-to-VHS copying process.

DETAILS

In the notes, "JLV" means Jimmie Vaughan, "inc" means incomplete, "gen" means generation or how many VHS copies away from the master. I have rated the gen: Low = 1st or 2nd gen; Medium = some picture loss, but watchable and no great need to upgrade; High = considerable picture loss and need to upgrade. "Pro-shot" means professional authorized recording, as opposed to an audience member's camcorder.

Approximately 180 titles in collection.  I'm told it is approximately 95 hours!  (Thanks Alan) Watching 8 hours per day, five days a week, it would take over two weeks to see it all.
